Main Function
Creation and Maintenance of Product BOM
The drawing file is checked in into the Aras PLM through an integrated tool, the tool reads the part structure information automatically in CAD and brings the structure into Aras PLM to generate a design BOM.
BOM Review Process
The BOM approval process in Aras PLM can be dynamically adjusted based on actual business operations. Including preparation establishment, preliminary review, quality assurance review, DCC release, etc., it will also promote the life cycle of components correspondingly.

Multi-Level Reverse Checking of Materials
When the same material is used by multiple BOM or other forms, Aras can use the "Where Used" command to find which BOMs or forms are using this material.

By using the EBOM synchronization tool, the design BOM is converted into EBOM automatically. If there are new parts, new materials will be generated automatically, and some properties of the new materials will be obtained from the model.
