HAOSENsoft MCAD Connector proving seamless integration of CAD software and Aras PLM in multiple industrial design fields and architectural field. It can avoid manual interaction between MCAD software and Aras PLM, ensure data accuracy and improve data transfer efficiency, realize the comprehensive, in-depth and integrated MCAD application, and enable Aras PLM to provide technical support and realization platform for MCAD in-depth application.
Bidirectional Driven Results CAD digital-analog structure and EBOM structure are bidirectional driven to achieve BOM consistency.
Attribute Mapping Attribute of CAD digital models and engineering drawings are extracted to the attributes of digital models, drawings, and materials (parts) in Aras automatically, and can be displayed on the interface.
Data Association Management Establishing associations among CAD digital model, drawings, materials (parts), documents and changes, and supporting mutual search among objects.
Design Update Collaboration After the CAD data stored in Aras is updated, the data status on the designer side Is "expired", and the latest version of the data can be obtained at any time to ensure the accuracy of the data.
Advantages
Wide range of integration with multiple CAD software in Industrial design field and architectural field.
MCAD Connector is developed natively and have huge advantages in stability, Aas PLM compatibility, and execution efficiency.
MCAD Connector can provide highly customized design toolsets which can fit different scenarios.
Providing compliance detection tools to reduce the errors of design and system application.
Main Function
Product Data Storage & Query
Through the integration of MCAD, the product structure data generated by CAD can be managed in Aras PLM. The structural data can be stored and queried in Aras PLM simultaneously, i.e. controlling the storage and retrieval of data, searching for data according to customer-defined attributes (for example, number, name, weight, volume, and etc.), coordinating the relationship among different types of data, managing the entry and exit of files, providing the management of product structure and configuration, tracking the product development process, converting data flows between different applications, etc.
Check-in, Check-out and Version Control of MCAD Documents
Implementing the check-in and check-out of MCAD documents in Aras PLM environment, and displaying the relationship between the product structure and MCAD documents.
Extraction and Transformation of BOM Information
Through the MCAD integration, the attribute information of the data is operated in CAD to BOM in the system, and the information of the CAD system is transmitted to Aras PLM effectively and accurately. Bidirectional integration enables the BOM form to be generated quickly and accurately.
